Introducing Terzofoco by Oliveri.

Deruta, a town in Umbria, Italy, is renowned for its ceramics and pottery due to a rich history and tradition of craftsmanship. Famous for their unique styles and techniques, as well as the use of vibrant colours and intricate patterns.

Each basin is handmade with passion and is a unique utilitarian object of art for your bathroom. They are designed to be countertop installation and are best paired with Oliveri’s tower mixers or wall mounted tapware for a minimalist look to perfectly complement each basin.

Oliveri stocks and distributes a selection of Terzofoco basins manufactured from raku, refractory or fine fire clay. Each having their own history and benefits.

Raku clay is a type of earthenware clay, known for its distinctive and unpredictable results. Raku clay is coarse and earthy in texture, its firing process involves fluctuation from high heat to intense cooling. This creates unique surface effects, such as crackled glazes and metallic sheens, making raku ceramics visually striking and one of a kind.

Fine fire clay is high-quality, smooth and is one of the strongest material options. It is known for its refined texture and ability to withstand high temperatures, making it ideal for creating durable, heat-resistant ceramics. Fine fire clay is prized for its even consistency, which allows for precise detailing and a polished finish.

Refractory clay is specially designed to withstand intense heat and thermal stress. This type of clay contains high levels of alumina and silica, which contribute to its exceptional durability and resistance to thermal shock. Its structural integrity means it is perfect for the creation of large and durable stoneware.

Oliveri is proud and excited to present this bold and new eclectic range of premium artisan basins from Terzofoco.
